The Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour, Local Government and Rural Development, Dr. The Honourable Carla Barnett and Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Sharon Young expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of the Ministry of Labour, Local Government and Rural Development by hosting a Staff Appreciation Day to recognized and award staff for their outstanding achievements and dedication to the Ministry over the past years.
There were several criteria for the different categories of awards. The criteria’s assist the Head of Departments (HOD’s) with their selection of names. While the decisions were very competitive and posed a challenge, in the end an Outstanding Achievement Awardee, Rookie of the Year and a Ministry Awardee were chosen.
The Ministry takes this opportunity to congratulate the following staff on their Outstanding Achievement Award, Rookie of The Year Award and the Ministry Award. We also congratulate those who celebrated their Milestone Award of 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years and 25 years. The Ministry encourages the staff of the Ministry of Labour, Local Government and Rural Development to continue the wonderful job they are doing.
